The Down Syndrome Association invites you to join us for an afternoon of inspiration, camaraderie and fun! We appreciate the complex challenges individuals, families and our community are experiencing during the pandemic, and hope to provide a brief respite from your day to day worries and concerns. The Buddy Walk is an awesome experience...a day to come together as a community to celebrate children and adults with Down syndrome, and their families. We realize a virtual event will not be quite the same as being with each other in person and will do our best to keep the Buddy Walk spirit alive and well. All donations are deeply appreciated. Please let us know if we can be of assistance to your family. Stay safe and healthy. 

  

Registering for the Down Syndrome Association of San Diego
Buddy Walk® is as easy as 1-2-3

1. Sign Up

FEES:  FAMILY/TEAM $25, ADULT $15, CHILD/ADULT WITH DS-FREE 
Click on the Register button above to register online. All participants are required to accept the terms and conditions of the waiver before completing the registration form. You will also receive a notification to register for your personal zoom link in order to access the event on October 11. You will create your personal page and/or team page URL in your Fundraising Portal after your registration is complete. 

2. Create Your Online Fundraising Page

After you register, customize your personal fundraising page by editing text, uploading pictures and changing the colors of your page in your Fundraising Portal.  You can make changes to your web page as many times as you’d like.

3. Spread the Word

Once your personal fundraising page has been set up, you can send emails to your friends and family through your Fundraising Portal. The emails will provide a direct link to your personal page where your friends and family can make a donation on your behalf. We've even written some sample emails to help get you started!

If you are unable to be in San Diego for the Buddy Walk® on October 13, you can register as a virtual walker, Click here and join us in spirit.  Or, you can simply make a charitable donation to help support the Down Syndrome Association of San Diego  by clicking on the Donate To This Event button.
